Glimpses of Participation of Ghazi University Students in CADRE Skills Competition of “Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)” at Emergency Services Academy, Lahore. The students of Ghazi University, Dera Ghazi Khan, have completed three key training programs in emergency and rescue services: PLSP, Community Response Volunteers, and CADRE. After securing 3rd position in district-level competitions, the team earned the opportunity to participate in the Punjab-level training program. Upon the directions of Vice Chancellor Ghazi University, D.G. Khan, Prof. Dr. Ashfaq Ahmad and the supervision of the Director Students’ Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Salman Haider, Team Ghazi University participated in the prestigious CADRE Skills Competition of “Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)”, held at the Emergency Services Academy, Lahore, from December 2–5, 2024. The team also observed International Volunteers Day on December 5, 2024, in collaboration with Rescue 1122. The CERT Team, consisting of 8 students (4 male and 4 female), was accompanied by Deputy Director Students’ Affairs (Female) Dr. Irum Aziz and Mr. Salman Mahmood, Lecturer in Business Administration. The "Ghazi University CERT Team" demonstrated exemplary enthusiasm by actively engaging in various challenges and activities throughout the event. The "Certificates of Acknowledgment" were also awarded marks a proud moment for the university.
