A dynamic guest speaker session was held at Ghazi University in collaboration with Telenor Pakistan, focusing on employment opportunities in Pakistan.
Prof. Dr. Ashfaq Ahmad, Vice Chancellor Ghazi University, praised the participants and acknowledged the contribution made by industry in the deprived region of D. G. Khan, and discussed future collaboration between industry and academia.
The session brought together students, faculty members, and industry professionals to explore the evolving landscape of HR in the country. The event provided valuable insights into the current state of HR practices, the emerging trends, and the future potential of HR as a strategic function in organizations.

- Mr. Muhammad Sajid Zaffar, Regional Director Central - 3, Telenor Pakistan.
- Mr. Muhammad Sharjeel Khan, CEO Shurj Ltd.

The session began with an introduction to Telenor Pakistan’s role in the telecommunications industry and its commitment to fostering innovation and growth within the HR domain. Ms. Tooba, and Mr. Sajid from Telenor Pakistan emphasized the company's focus on creating a dynamic work environment that promotes inclusivity, diversity, and continuous development.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, where students and attendees had the opportunity to ask questions about the practical aspects of working in HR, the challenges faced by HR professionals, and the opportunities available for aspiring HR experts in Pakistan. The guest speaker shared valuable advice on how to build a successful career in HR, stressing the importance of continuous learning, networking, and gaining real-world experience.
